Paul Horton

Paul Horton received an M.S. in Biophysics from Kyoto University

(1992) and a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley (1997). He was a

researcher at the Real World Computing Project from 1998 to 2000 and

subsequently pursued industry consulting in Silicon Valley and Taiwan.

He has lead the sequence analysis team at the Computational Biology

Research Center since 2003. He has broad interests in biology and

computer science -- joined by the common thread of sequence analysis.
